EQ [Jul. 24th, 2006|10:13 am]
Your EQ is 100

50 or less: Thanks for answering honestly. Now get yourself a shrink, quick!
51-70: When it comes to understanding human emotions, you'd have better luck understanding Chinese.
71-90: You've got more emotional intelligence than the average frat boy. Barely.
91-110: You're average. It's easy to predict how you'll react to things. But anyone could have guessed that.
111-130: You usually have it going on emotionally, but roadblocks tend to land you on your butt.
131-150: You are remarkable when it comes to relating with others. Only the biggest losers get under your skin.
150+: Two possibilities - you've either out "Dr. Phil-ed" Dr. Phil... or you're a dirty liar.

Rains... [Jul. 5th, 2006|11:07 am]

You wash your car in the morning every day only to realise that by the time you reach office its become brown again because of mud water.

I hate rains, and these things surely do not abate my hatred !!

Dear Santa...

Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

Last Tuesday I punched [info]urja in the arm (-10 points). Last Friday on a flight to Colorado Springs, I stole the emergency flight information card (-40 points). Last week I saved a busload of nuns in Angola (326 points). In May I bought porn for [info]code_martial (10 points). In April I put gum in [info]peeyush's hair (-12 points).

Overall, I've been nice (274 points). For Christmas I deserve a Lego set!

Conversation with GOD. [Dec. 9th, 2004|12:21 pm]
[mood | calm]

God : Hello. Did you call me?

Me: Called you? No.. who is this?

God : This is GOD. I heard your prayers. So I thought I will chat.

Me: I do pray. Just makes me feel good. I am actually busy now. I am in
the midst of something.

God : What are you busy at? Ants are busy too.

Me: Don't know. But I cant find free time. Life has become hectic. It's
rush hour all the time.

God : Sure. Activity gets you busy. But productivity gets you results.
Activity consumes time. Productivity frees it.

Me: I understand. But I still cant figure out. By the way, I was not
expecting YOU to buzz me on instant messaging chat.

God : Well I wanted to resolve your fight for time, by giving you some
clarity. In this net era, I wanted to reach you through the medium you are
comfortable with.

Me: Tell me, why has life become complicated now?

God : Stop analyzing life. Just live it. Analysis is what makes it
complicated.

Me: why are we then constantly unhappy?

God : Your today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. You are
worrying because you are analyzing. Worrying has become your habit. That's
why you are not happy.

Me: But how can we not worry when there is so much uncertainty?

God : Uncertainty is inevitable, but worrying is optional.

Me: But then, there is so much pain due to uncertainty..

God : Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional.

Me: If suffering is optional, why do good people always suffer?

God : Diamond cannot be polished without friction. Gold cannot be purified
without fire. Good people go through trials, but don't suffer. With that
experience their life become better not bitter.

Me: You mean to say such experience is useful?

God : Yes. In every terms, Experience is a hard teacher. She gives the
test first and the lessons afterwards.

Me: But still, why should we go through such tests? Why cant we be free
from problems?

God : Problems are Purposeful Roadblocks Offering Beneficial Lessons (to)
Enhance Mental Strength. Inner strength comes from struggle and endurance,
not when you are free from problems.

Me: Frankly in the midst of so many problems, we don't know where we are
heading..

God : If you look outside you will not know where you are heading.Look
inside. Looking outside, you dream. Looking inside, you awaken. Eyes
provide sight. Heart provides insight.

Me: Sometimes not succeeding fast seems to hurt more than moving in the
right direction. What should I do?

God : Success is a measure as decided by others. Satisfaction is a measure
as decided by you. Knowing the road ahead is more satisfying than knowing
you rode ahead. You work with the compass. Let others work with the clock.

Me: In tough times, how do you stay motivated?

God : Always look at how far you have come rather than how far you have to
go. Always count your blessing, not what you are missing.

Me: What surprises you about people?

God : when they suffer they ask, "why me?" When they prosper, they never
ask "Why me" Everyone wishes to have truth on their side, but few want to
be on the side of the truth.

Me: Sometimes I ask, who am I, why am I here. I cant get the answer.

God : Seek not to find who you are, but to determine who you want to be.
Stop looking for a purpose as to why you are here. Create it. Life is not
a process of discovery but a process of creation.

Me: How can I get the best out of life?

God : Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence.
Prepare for the future without fear.

Me: One last question. Sometimes I feel my prayers are not answered.

God : There are no unanswered prayers. At times the answer is NO.

Me: Thank you for this wonderful chat. I am so happy to start the New Year
with a new sense of inspiration.

God : Well. Keep the faith and drop the fear. Don't believe your doubts
and doubt your beliefs. Life is a mystery to solve not a problem to
resolve. Trust me. Life is wonderful if you know how to live.

The Shoe Survey. [Aug. 7th, 2004|04:09 pm]

Terrible day Yesterday !! After office hours, I had gone to M G Road, PUNE (seems this road is in every city of India), one of the lively places in Pune to search for a good shoes for myself. The sole of my Reebok is worn out..and i plan to buy a new one. So yesterday, as planned, I went to all big showroom(MG Road) for The Shoe Survey :-).

My first stop was at Nike show room, nice shoes, but very costly. Donno, I never liked nike. But for sure, their shoes look more attractive. I liked one, but that was of 5500/- :((. Wonder y are shoes so costly !! :(.

Next, was Adidas :-), brand i like the most, though I have never tried it. They were better and the one I liked was of 3500/-. Less than Nike, may plan to buy this one. (Am I Serious!!)

And finally just infront of Adidas showroom was Reebok. Seems they are not comin up with any new designs. They had the same old stuff. So didn't get any choice there. :-(

And now...i m in a real fix as what to do. Its a know fact that i Love Shoes and since childhood i always wanted to possess a good pair of shoe.(though i never got one, until i started earning at NCST).  And this leaves me in a bigger trouble, should i go ahead with my passion for shoes or should i think pratically and not spend so much for a pair a shoe.

Should i buy, Should I not, Should i buy, Should I not,........................

Suggestions are welcome !! Plz suggest :-(.

Yeh Dil Maange More [Aug. 4th, 2004|01:23 pm]
Well my parents left Pune Yesterday. I had a nice time with them...but a times it was very irritating with all these rains. It rained horribly last week and we couldn't go out much. Only Pizza Hut and for some shopping.

My parents loved this place..and now they are forcing me to buy a flat out here. God..tell them..i dont have soooo much money to buy a flat :(. But yes...leave the money part..this is a place worth buyin a house. Its green..u feel u are with the nature (unlike Mumbai) and with all the amenities comin up..I feel its the ideal place to buy a flat :-). Yeh dil maange more (MONEY) ;-).
